Aerospace plant in Albuquerque to close down

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – 150 people in Albuquerque will lose their jobs in September.

UTC Aerospace Systems is closing its Albuquerque plant near Osuna and Jefferson.

The company designs, builds, and takes care of items for military aircraft and the International Space Station.

Work done at that plant will be transferred to the company’s other US facilities.
