Elijah Brown named MW Player of the Week 3rd time

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Elijah Brown has done it again. The University of New Mexico sophomore guard is the Mountain West Player of the Week for a third time season. Brown averaged 23.5 points per game in a pair of Lobo victories. He also shot 52.2 percent from the floor and 61.5 percent from three point range.

Brown had 17 points in a win over Air Force. He followed that with 30 points in a win at Boise State. The victories helped propel the Lobos into sole possession of second place in the Mountain West at 6-2. The Lobos host UNLV Tuesday at 6pm.
