The next storm system will begin producing snow during the day on Sunday with heavier snow across the Northern Mountains and Southwest Colorado increasing in coverage Sunday night into Monday. Temperatures ahead of the cold front will be warm limiting the snow to the higher terrain. The much colder temperatures move in on Monday. This is when Albuquerque could see a rain/snow mix but not much accumulation of snow is expected at this point in the metro. The storm moves out on Tuesday and the cold temps will remain in place until the end of the week.
