Warming trend continues through start of the weekend...

WEDNESDAY: High pressure building over the Desert Southwest will keep away the rain & snow, only leaving room for sunshine and warmer temperatures. Morning temperatures in the teens, 20s and 30s will warm to near average in most areas under a mostly sunny sky. Afternoon temperatures:
–Southern Colorado: mid-to upper 30s
–Northwest Plateau: upper 30s to mid-40s
–Southwest: low 40s to low 50s
–Southeast Plains: low to mid-50s
–Northeast Plains: upper 40s to mid-50s
–Northern Mountains: mid-30s to low 40s
–East Mountains: low to mid-40s
–Albuquerque-metro area: mid-to upper 40s

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: The warm up continues with most areas at or above average for this time of year. Our mostly sunny sky will be stretched from stateline to stateline with breezy conditions expected along and east of the Central Mountains.
