John’s Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

The warm up commences...

The weather will be quiet from now to the end of the week as a ridge of high pressure tries to build. While the high will not center itself over the state, we will see more of a westerly flow leading into the weekend. That will allow daytime temperatures to warm to well above average by Saturday.

The next storm system will arrive late Sunday into Monday of next week. The one sure thing this storm will bring is a shot of cooler air for the start of next week. However, the specific track is still up in the air. If it takes a more northerly track through the northern half of the state, most of the snow impacts will be across the north. However, if the storm digs deeper into the state, the impacts could be more widespread.

Regardless of impacts, this storm looks to be a quick mover, clearing out by early Tuesday.
