Lincoln Middle School Bullying

RIO RANCHO (KRQE) – A threat, made on social media against a school in Michigan, prompted extra security at a school in Rio Rancho.

Officials at Lincoln Middle School say a student at Lincoln High in Warren, Michigan, threatened to bring a gun to school. Several Rio Rancho residents saw the post and thought it was about the middle school.

The district decided to send more officers to the school, but say there was no credible threat. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
