John’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

Some snow with a cold front...

A cold front will move toward New Mexico from the northeast today. Expect increasing clouds through the afternoon and evening with snow developing northeast this evening and into tonight. Snow will also fall across the east facing slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Winter Weather Advisories are in place across much of the east.

Snow will advance south overnight, allowing for a few snow showers across the southeast and Sacramento Mountains by daybreak Tuesday. Snow will be short lived, and only scattered showers will be left across the south into Tuesday afternoon. Cooler air will move in behind the front for Tuesday afternoon.

A ridge of high pressure will build into the southwest during the middle and latter part of the week allowing for a steady warm up into the weekend with more sunshine!
