AFD: Homeless person starts fire in abandoned building

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque firefighters put out a fire in an abandoned building Monday morning after a homeless person started it to keep warm.

AFD says crews responded to the fire near 1st Street and Mountain around 8:00 a.m. They had the fire out within minutes.
