MacArthur Elementary School opens new classrooms

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Another Albuquerque school got a face lift. MacArthur Elementary School, near 2nd and Montano opened the doors to several new classrooms Tuesday.

It cost about $2.5 million. The school added two new kindergarten classrooms as well as other rooms for early childhood development.

This is the second elementary school this year to expand its kindergarten wing.

Albuquerque Public Schools spent about $4 million to improve Comanche Elementary.

All that money comes from bond money approved by voters.
