Voting kicks off for Albuquerque Public Schools bond election

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Voting is now under way for the Albuquerque Public Schools bond election.

The school district is asking voters to approve $575-million for capital improvement projects. The money would go towards renovating APS schools, new technology and improved student transportation.

The funding would come in the form of a $375-million mill levy and $200-million in general obligation bonds that will not increase taxes.
