SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea says it has conducted a successful hydrogen bomb test, a surprise announcement.

The announcement of the nuclear-armed country’s fourth atomic test comes after South Korean officials say they detected an “artificial earthquake” near the main North Korean nuclear test site.
