Explora demonstrates “Cool Science”

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Science isn’t always the most popular subject, but there’s one museum trying to change that.

Explora, a museum described as part science center and part kids museum, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to demonstrate a fun science experiment themed Cool Science.

This week, Conlin Chino and Randy Pedro demonstrated how to make objects sing. From glasses to straws, the two Explora Educators were able to make sounds strike a cord by changing the variables of the objects. Watch above.

A variety of programs are offered for children pre-K to eighth grade, they include Growing a Scientist and Science to Grow On. Explora isn’t just for the kiddos. On Saturday, January 15 from 6:30pm until 10pm those over the age of 18 can enjoy Adult Night with at theme of Beautiful Bubbles.
