NM Warrior Youth Hockey heads to tournament in Canada

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The New Mexico Warrior hockey team won the Silver Stick Rocky Mountain Division tournament in Denver over Thanksgiving weekend.  This win earned them an invitation to compete against other regional winners at the next level in Ontario, Canada January 7-10, 2016.

This is a tremendous honor for the team as they are one of only 16 teams to earn this invitation. Approximately 350 teams entered Silver Stick tournaments in North American at this age level.

As they head to Ontario for the next round of matches, they are asking for small donations to help ease the cost of travel. They also need to pay for tournament fees and other costs associated with it. Right now, they have a Go Fund Me campaign running, and are about half way to their goal. Every little bit counts. The entire Warrior organization is grateful for any support you can give.
