ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Some Albuquerque health clinics received an early Christmas present Tuesday.

The Molina Foundation is donating 5,000 books to First Choice Community Healthcare. These books, both in English and Spanish, will be distributed to clinics in low-income neighborhoods.

The benefactor is working on an interesting idea that’ll get not only kids interested in reading, but their parents too.

The foundation believes they can improve the overall healthcare of the state with these book donations. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
