ABQ Economic Development, Inc. year in review

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Economic Development’s mission is to recruit new employers and help local companies grow to generate quality job opportunities for the Albuquerque metro area. 2015 was a successful year for them. This came as they led or supported the expansion of Rural Sourcing, Inc.; National American University Online 3.0 National Administrative Center; NORC at the University of Chicago; Alorica; and Skorpios Technologies.

In addition, they assisted 110 companies by connecting them with important incentives, information and programs. Collectively, these projects represent more than 1,000 new jobs to the metro area– something of great value, especially right now. Over all, some very good things to look over for economic development here in Albuquerque.

We also discuss what’s in the pipeline for 2016. You can bet some exciting things are to come for the new year.
