ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Local MMA Fighter Tim “The Dirty Bird” Means earned his 17th KO in his 25 fight win career on Thursday. Means knocked out a good welterweight fighter, John Howard, and he credits his team at Fit NHB and all the others who helped prepare him for this fight.

“He was a strong guy, but he couldn’t hold me down and that speaks volumes to my strength and conditional coach, Dwayne Davis at functional fury. Brian Mendoza and Fidel Maldonaldo and those guys. I have a lot of love for them. They are my favorite boxing camp here. I just have to shoot a thank you to those guys because they are there for me all the time,” said Tim Means.

As of now Timmy is taking the holidays off saying the only thing he would be fighting is a big plate of Christmas dinner, but expect the Dirty Bird back in the octagon soon, as the UFC has shown Means a lot of interest for his exciting style of fighting.
