In the kitchen with Pueblo Harvest Cafe

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Tuesday morning Pueblo Harvest Cafe’s head Chef, David Ruiz, stopped by with a couple of their signature dishes.

First up, David whips up his personal favorite breakfast dish, ‘Chef’s Breakfast’ (aptly named, right?). This includes carne-hash, pepper jack cheese, eggs, green chile, and the Cafe’s special Pueblo Oven Bread. You can actually purchase the bread right now, which could be perfect for the next holiday soiree you’re hosting.

Next up, he prepares their ‘Bison Meat Loaf Demi-Glace’. This includes bison meat loaf, green chile demi-glace, rudabaga parsnip puree, basil oil, red skin mashed potatoes, and Truffle potato strings. Perfect for those cold nights where you’re looking for a hearty meal.

Pueblo Harvest Cafe is located inside the Indian Cultural Center. You can check them out online to see what special events they’re hosting for the holidays and the New Year.
