2 Albuquerque residents face federal charges for mail thefts

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Two people in Albuquerque are facing federal charges for stealing mail from a post office.

Ronnie Rael and Enessa Rael are accused of a rash of postal thefts since October.

In one case, the two are accused of breaking into the post office near Lomas and Tramway and stealing mail through a passport window .

The feds say they used people’s debit cards and deposited stolen checks that they found in the mail.
