It’s been snowing in parts of New Mexico for nearly 24 hours. Snow also fell in places up north like Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The fresh powder coated the trees for a winter wonderland of sorts. Meanwhile, the East Mountains got a healthy dose of snow of their own early in the day.

Deputies said she tried to ram a Bernalillo county deputy head on. According to a criminal complaint, Reryanon Duncan was pulled over near Bridge and Isleta.

When the deputy flashed his lights at her, he says Duncan flipped the car around and tried to ram him. Deputies said Duncan claimed a man in the car was pointing an A-K 47 at her head and demanding she drive away. She was arrested on aggravated assault and fleeing charges.

UNM’s baseball field is getting a new name. School officials say the Santa Ana Pueblo-owned Tamaya enterprises is giving the school $1 million over the next 10 years for naming rights to the field. The current name is Lobo Field.
