New Supreme Court Justice to be sworn in Friday

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – New Supreme Court Justice Judith Nakamura is scheduled to be sworn-in Friday. Justice Nakamura was chosen to fill the seat of retiring Justice Richard Bosson.

Nakamura is a longtime Albuquerque resident and a University of New Mexico law school graduate. If she wants to keep her seat voters will have to elect her next year.

Her swearing-in ceremony is set for 4 Friday afternoon at Sid Cutter Pilots’ Pavilion on the Balloon Fiesta Park launch field.
