Lobos land Gildan NM Bowl against Arizona


ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- The Lobos will play in the 10th Annual Gildan New Mexico Bowl. The game will be played at University Stadium on December 19th at 12 pm. They will face off against the 6-6 Arizona Wildcats, that finished 5th in the Pac-12 South.

This will be the 67th meeting between the Lobos and Wildcats all time. The last time these two met was in 2008 and the Lobos defeated the Wildcats 36-28 at University Stadium.

This game will mark the Lobos 12th Bowl Game appearance in program history.

“Our entire program is excited to have the chance to play in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl against Arizona,” said head coach Bob Davie in a statement.  “It is a tremendous challenge for us to play a Pac-12 opponent, but also a great opportunity for our program.”
