Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

Temperatures were only a few degrees cooler on Sunday thanks to the weak cold front that rolled in on Saturday.   Despite the cool down, high temperatures were at average or even slightly above average to close out the weekend.   An area of high pressure is going to build over the region in the coming days.   This will warm our temperatures back up after some chilly mornings.   Highs will be above average throughout the week.   We will watch for changes by the end of the week.  That is when a storm system is going to be diving south.   This system will not have much moisture to work with so we are not looking at a big snowfall for the mountains for right now.   The few things that are certain with this storm will be the drop in temperatures with highs tumbling back into the 30s & 40s along with strong, gusty wind.
