ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Local eatery Fork & Fig has just been named the ‘Best New Restaurant’ in Albuquerque The Magazine’s annual ‘Best of the City’ issue for 2015. Owner and executive chef Josh Kennon joined us this morning with a couple examples of some of their top menu items. Fork & Fig specializes in gourmet sandwiches, paninis and wraps. However there is also an incorporation of what Kennon calls a “fine dining to-go” element with more substantial offerings like steak offered on a takeout basis (as you can see). Kennon also shares what the restaurant experience has been like since their award.
