THURSDAY: Morning temps in the teens, 20s and 30s will warm into the 40s, 50s, and 60s by late day. Plenty of sunshine will be seen statewide with light winds 5-15mph.
FRIDAY: An even warmer day on tap to finish the work week – high temperatures will top out well into the 40s and 50s in most areas with more 60s on the map further south. Mostly sunny and dry conditions are expected area-wide – no significant rain or snow anywhere within statelines.
SATURDAY: A quick-hitting storm skirting over the NM/CO stateline will bring in a slight chance for snow over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The timing, track and intensity of this storm is not in our favor – so mountain snow is about the only perk we’ll see with this system. An associated cold front will drop temps 2-6 degrees in most areas. Despite the cool down, most of us will stay at, or even above, average still in the 40s, 50s and low 60s.
SUNDAY: High temperatures will top out in the 40s and 50s over northern NM / 50s and 60s across southern NM under a mostly to partly sunny sky.
