John’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast

Temps continue to slowly warm...

Afternoon temperatures continue to slowly warm. We’ll tack on around 5° to yesterday’s highs. Today’s westerly flow will turn southwesterly Friday afternoon allowing temps to warm by a few more degrees.

The weekend remains mainly quiet, but a weak storm will clip the northern part of the state. As it does so, winds will become breezy across much of the state Saturday. The northern high terrain will have the shot at spot snow showers late Saturday into early Sunday. Significant accumulations are not expected. A cold front will nudge into the northeastern part of the state. Like the storm, the front will have little impact on the state with temperatures dropping only a few degrees, but remaining above average.
