Roosevelt Wind Project nearing completion

PORTALES, N.M. (KRQE) – A wind farm near Portales is almost complete.

About half of the 125 turbines on the Roosevelt Wind Project are producing electricity and all are expected to be fully operational by the end of the year.

The second half of the project consists of about 25 turbines and is expected to be up and running by the end of January.
