Jemez Springs ruins to be decorated with luminarias

JEMEZ SPRINGS, N.M. (KRQE) – The historic ruins in Jemez Springs will be lit up by more than 1,400 luminarias. The event is called “Light Among the Ruins” and will include free horse drawn wagons that will shuttle visitors from the plaza to the 500-year-old site.

There will also be Native American dances, traditional pueblo cuisine and arts and crafts.

It takes place December 12.

There is no fee, but donations are encouraged.
