Albuquerque diner offers free meals for Thanksgiving

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A downtown café is feeding the community this Thanksgiving.

Owners at Lindy’s Diner on Central and 5th Street, says they’ll be providing 150 free meals for those who need them on Thursday. They say they’re not only reaching out to the homeless, but to those who can’t cook, or simply don’t want to spend the holiday alone.

It’s a traditional Thanksgiving meal with dessert.

It takes place from 11 in the morning until 3 p.m.
