Albuquerque’s ethics board rules against anti-abortion activists

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The city’s ethics board has ruled against a group of anti-abortion activists who targeted a city council candidate.

Protest ABQ spread graphic mailers showing aborted fetuses and parked a truck with the images in Pat Davis’ neighborhood.

The mailers called Davis, a democrat, too extreme for the district.

The ethics board voted unanimously to impose a $1,000 fine and issue a public reprimand to the group for violating the city election code.
