First non-profit incubator opens in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Rio Grande Community Development Corporation, a 27-year old nonprofit in the South Valley, is using its ten years of experience In business incubation and decades of community development experience to roll out an incubator. It is specifically going to be used for supporting new nonprofit ideas and entrepreneurs. This is the first of its kind in New Mexico. Sinc (Social Impact/Nonprofit Community) is designed to ensure that anyone with an idea that can make NM better and the will to work on it gets the support, technical assistance, and connections they need to succeed.

They opened their doors just one week ago and have hit the ground running. People are already expressing their ideas, and some great ones are sure to start growing. This will surely benefit the non-profit community here in Albuquerque and throughout the state.
