ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It’s the middle of November but it’s already starting to look like Christmas in Albuquerque’s Uptown.
Dozens of families made it out Saturday night for the annual Uptown tree lighting ceremony.
“I love Christmas. I don’t think Christmas is starting too early now. A lot of people do, but I just think it’s really happy and a good time for family and friends to get together and just have a good time,” said Jane Kelly who attended the event.
People enjoyed hot chocolate and kids also got to meet Santa. The tree will stay lit until after Christmas.
