ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Four teens charged with the murder of an Albuquerque bartender appeared in court Friday and one of them wants to distance himself from the others.

On Thursday one of the suspects, 17-year-old Ryan Archibeque, had his bond lowered from $250,000 cash only to $85,000 cash or surety. He has posted $8,500 and was released from the Bernalillo County Youth Services Center at 12:10 p.m. Friday.

Archibeque’s attorneys asked a judge Friday to separate his case from his co-defendants. Thursday they argued he had absolutely nothing to do with Gerecke’s murder.

The judge ruled all of the teens have until January to come up with an argument as to why they should be tried separately. Jeremiah King is the accused shooter.
