A storm system over the four corners will slide to our north during the night Tuesday night. As the storm moves north, a cold front will move through the state knocking down temperatures and bringing the chance for a quick snow shower over the mountains. Here in the metro area will see more wind than anything else with gusts up to 35 mph overnight. It will remain windy on Wednesday with wind gusts up to 60 mph across eastern New Mexico with clearing skies.
We will be dry with a lot of sunshine Thursday and Friday. A week storm system clips southern New Mexico through the weekend bringing the chance of a spot shower. A much bigger series of storms comes in next week.
