FRIDAY: A very cold start to our day with a good portion of the state at or even below freezing. Afternoon temperatures will be slightly warmer than Thursday although still very cool – expect temps to top out in the 40s, 50s and 60s. Plenty of sunshine will be seen statewide.
SATURDAY: A weak cold front will slip in from the northeast late Friday into Saturday, cooling off areas along and east of the Central Mountains and kicking up the winds. Expect high temps to top out in the 40s, 50s and 60s by late day. Our gusty east canyon winds will likely stick around the ABQ-metro area through the day – sustained speeds: 10-20mph. We’ll watch for some spot rain over the higher terrain to the north and northeast, although, majority of the state can plan on sunshine and dry conditions.
SUNDAY: A mostly to partly sunny sky can be expected statewide with afternoon temperatures similar to what will be felt Friday and Saturday – 40s, 50s and 60s.
