Trick or treating draws hundreds to Albuquerque’s Country Club area

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– Trick or treating drew hundreds to Albuquerque’s Country Club area Saturday.

The neighborhood is a popular spot for families from throughout Albuquerque to gather because of its friendly residents, elaborate decorations and of course, the candy.

Residents said they got hundreds of visitors, starting as early as five o’clock. The streets were backed up with cars and kids making their way from house to house. The visiting families say they always feel welcomed and that it’s a great place to make traditions with their kids.

Popular costumes included Batman and Bat Girl, police officers and firefighters and of course, princesses. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
