ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Six thousand dollars, that’s how much Albuquerque rose last night for Officer Daniel Webster.
Officer Webster remains in critical condition after being shot three times Wednesday night.
Monday night, the lines at Papa John’s throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho were out the door, as people tried to raise money for the officer and his family. The pizza chain gave 100 percent of Monday’s profits to the officer.
They say it totaled $5,700 and they added another $300 for an even $6,000. Other businesses have now stepped up to donate money to the officer.
- The owner of Crab N Draft Seafood Boil on Central will give 20 percent of gross profits from the month of November to Webster’s family. The goal is to raise at least $10,000.
- Bubba’s 33 is also donating. If you present the flyer 10% of your total food purchase will be donated to Officer Webster.
- Pizza 9 will be donating 100% of their profits on Wednesday to the fund set up for Officer Webster. Pizza 9 will also be donating 10% of their sales on gift cards from Wednesday. They are guaranteeing a $3,000 minimum donation.
