ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A lawsuit against Albuquerque Public Schools and a former teacher, accused of inappropriately touching a student, is headed for a settlement.

Kenneth Jehle, 54, allegedly touched a 13-year-old Taft Middle School student inappropriately. APS fired Jehle.

The parents of that student filed a lawsuit against Jehle and APS, saying they didn’t do enough to protect kids.

APS would not comment on the pending settlement.
