After a chilly start, temps will warm nicely across New Mexico with mostly sunny skies. A first round of cooler air will hit the east Wednesday in the form of a back door cold front. Meanwhile, clouds will increase from the west as our next storm system approaches.
Showers will break out across the state Thursday and Friday. This storm will also usher in even cooler air, helping drop snow levels across the Northern Mountains and Southern Colorado. The storm will clear out just in time for Halloween day, but afternoon highs will be about 10° – 15° below average.
