DURANGO, Colo. (KRQE) – A Durango man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for helping his son rob a medical marijuana dispensary.

Joseph Griffith, 44, and 19-year-old Logan Griffith targeted the Rocky Mountain High Dispensary, making off with $2,700 as well as some pot, earlier this year.

At first, authorities thought the dad was a victim, because he was tied up during the robbery. Authorities now believe it was all part of the plan.

The younger Griffith has already pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six years as a youthful offender.
