Teal Pumpkin Project gives hope to children

Teal Pumpkin project

AZTEC, N.M. (KRQE) – Don’t let the teal pumpkins scare you, they’re a beacon of hope to some children.

The Aztec Chamber of Commerce is promoting the Teal Pumpkin Project.

Participants display a teal pumpkin on their porch for Halloween. Instead of treats, they give out glow sticks, bubbles, or pencils to children who have food allergies and diabetes.

Houses that want to participate can add their addresses to an online map.
