day of the tread

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A Halloween family friendly oriented event is celebrating health and raising awareness for local charities.

The 9th Annual Day of the Tread Bike Ride begins Sunday, October 25 at the ABQ Convention Center.

Those interested in riding have up until Saturday, October 24 to register for a ride anywhere from 12 to 100 miles.

What ever path you choose, all participants are invited to the Sunday pre-event motivation gathering, a post-ride celebration, courses full of music, entertainment, themed recharge zones and crazy contests. All participants are encouraged to come in costume, but not required.

Rides begin at 8:15am to 9:15am, depending on the length.

This ride is all in support of Pegasus Legal Services for Children.
