A ridge of high pressure to our west will continue to keep the state under clear skies and mild temperatures. We reached a record high in Albuquerque today of 85 degrees.
The good times won’t last too much longer though. A series of storm systems will take aim on the southwest beginning Friday. The first system will actually be a storm that rolled through last week then went west and will come back through again by Friday.
Behind that system, there are three more that could impact the state well into next week. The takeaway is colder temperatures along with moisture will be over the state for much of the next seven days. We could even start to pile up mountain snow.
