Kristen’s Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Near-record heat before weekend changes kick in...

TUESDAY: A day very much like Monday with plenty of sunshine and above average temps nearly statewide. Although a much cooler start over the Plains because of yesterday’s cold front, we’ll rebound nicely with 70s and 80s expected along and east of the Central Mountains. The majority of the state will climb 10-15 degrees above normal for this time of year. No rain expected within statelines.

WEDNESDAY: Much of the same expected Wednesday with temperatures soaring well above average and mostly sunny conditions overhead.

THURSDAY: Clouds will begin to build over the western half of the state as our next system approaches. Meanwhile, this week’s second cold front will begin to creep in over the far northeast. The combination of the approaching system and incoming cold front will mark the start of a very active weather pattern heading into the weekend.
