Aaron Perez Jr dreams of Olympic Trials

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – He has one more shot to try and make it to the Olympic Boxing trials. Aaron Perez Jr.has been fighting since the age of 4 and wants to make it at 123 pounds. If he makes it in the top two of qualifying he will get one step closer to trying to representing the USA in Brazil in 2016.

Perez Jr. tried a few months ago in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He came up short fighting an opponent he called awkward. The 2013 Junior Olympic National Champion will get his final shot in Memphis, Tennessee at the Olympic Trial Qualifying Tournament October 24 through November 1.
