LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – U.S. Senator Tom Udall will host an event to discuss New Mexico’s national laboratories role in national security, energy and the state’s economy.

Senate Appropriations Committee Vice Chairwoman Barbara A. Mikulsk will tour both labs and participate in a roundtable discussion as well.

Senator Udall will also be in Albuquerque, Truth or Consequences, Las Cruces, Deming, Lordsburg and Silver City to discuss New Mexico’s economy and job growth. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
