ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Choir students at Bosque School in Albuquerque are trying to win a national competition. The students put together a video to submit to the Macy’s a capella challenge.

They did it in 24 hours with the help of a high school senior who dabbles in video production.

Macy’s is expected to use the video for ads and the winner will receive $25,000.

Each school has to perform the same song, the Jackson Five’s “I want you back.”

If the Bosque School choir students win, the team will use the prize money to take more trips. They have already been to Carnegie Hall and the Vatican.

The winner will be announced November 4.
