Albuquerque man faces charges after 2 SWAT standoffs

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A man accused of causing two swat standoffs is now facing federal charges.

Earlier in the month, police say Oscar Anchondo carjacked someone then ran into a trailer park near Paseo del Norte and San Pedro. Officers thought they had him cornered, but after several hours they learned he was not inside.

Anchondo was later captured after another swat standoff in Bernalillo.
