ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Relief may be on the way for people along a major Albuquerque thoroughfare.
For years, people and businesses along Rio Grande Boulevard have complained about speeding, traffic and pedestrian safety.
Video from Sky News 13 during rush hour Tuesday evening shows what drivers are faced with.
The city council is paying a consulting firm to study ways to improve Rio Grande from I-40 to the country club neighborhood. Ideas include wider sidewalks and bike lanes.
The study could take several months. To see the plans, go to the WEBSITE.
