Santa Fe Police: Schools reopen after report of gunman

SANTA FE (KRQE) – Schools in Santa Fe were placed on ‘shelter in place’ Tuesday morning due to a report of a gunman near the school.

Police say around 8:00 a.m. a parent thought they saw someone with gun walking near Cesar Chavez Elementary and reported it. Police swept the area and did not find any threat.

Santa Fe Police say that all schools are now open at this time.
