ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police is taking the public on a virtual ride-along Tuesday evening.

Officer Tanner Tixier will be riding along with another officer and tweeting in the southwest area until about 10 p.m.

They will be using the hashtag “tweet from the beat.”

The goal is to give the community an inside look at police work and to show what types of calls officers respond to in real-time.
